Oh, Happy Day!

Our wedding day was the happiest of days.  We are overjoyed to be husband and wife.  Having all the special people in our lives there to celebrate with us made the day so sweet.  We love you all.

Here are a few pictures for now.  We'll post a link to many more soon.  A big ol' thank you to Michelle Balvin, our sister-in-law for the fantastic job on the photography.  You rock!  And thank you, also to all the family and friends who worked so hard to pull off the wedding of the century.

The Rings Are Done!

Just in a nick of time.  Gaines has been super busy with the jewelry business. 
He found the time between all the orders to get our rings done. 
We went through several design drafts and love the oak bark pattern that we finished up with.
Marcy contributed some gold nuggets from right here on the North Fork to make them even more special.

The Fabulous Bridal Shower

My Heather

I just got back from Sacramento where my dear, sweet Heather threw me a bridal shower.
She worked and worked to create a beautiful setting for this garden themed event.
I was so touched by her efforts and the wonderful idea of suggesting that the guests bring
plants as gifts. How perfect is that!?
There were so many special people there, which made me feel especially special.
Even our grand-daughters Anne-Marie and Audrey came from Eureka with their mom, Michelle.
What a wonderful surprise that was!

I got so many cool plants. I am sooooo excited about them. I am going to tag each of them with

the name of the special person who gave it to me so I can remember their kindness forever.

Thank you all so much for showering me with all that girly love.

Kids Are Welcome!

Just want to make sure that you all know that kids are most definitely welcome at the wedding.
Heck, most of the wedding party are under 13!
There will be games for both grown-ups and kids to play and lots of grass to run around on.
Oh, the park has a frisbee golf course, if anyone is into that, bring your stuff.
